BEHIND THE MUSIC:

In October 2023, I was in Athens, Greece and my son Zane decided to get a tattoo. While there at the tattoo studio I decided that waiting 56 years was long enough for me to wait to get my first tattoo...too. I opted for the zodiac symbol for Aries with the ram horns on my upper arm. Ironically while they were getting me prepped, my songwriting group went live on Facebook and I told them what I was doing. While on the chat, I submitted the phrase 'get tattooed' as my submission, and hot damn it was selected!!! I wrote and recorded this song when I got back to Phoenix. The song was built around some drum loops that came with the Superior Drummer software and an assortment of synth sounds within Logic (including the bass parts). The only real instrument was the guitar parts on my new Silver burst Strat and of course my three octaves of vocals!
