Welcome to the "POOLSIDE" bodypainting webpage.  This is Kristi Curiali from the website www.superkristi.com .  I first heard of Kristi through a radio contest that I was listening to here in Phoenix in which she was a contestant.  While the disk jockeys were interviewing her, she mentioned her website and curiosity got the best of me and I visited it.  Totally impressed with her look and style, I immediately e-mailed her to set up this session.  The project then took place on an extremely hot Arizona day in early August of 2001.  This bodypainting took about an hour and a half to complete, but the heat kept causing the latex to start peeling at the edges.  Fortunately we decided to do the photoshoot in Kristi's back yard by the pool so we didn't have to hold the suit together for very long.  As the photoshoot progressed, we kept loosing stripes one-by-one until the end of the shoot where we shot a few tasteful nude shots.  Kristi was an absolute professional to work with and the pictures don't even begin to show how beautiful she really is.  Besides that, she fed me pizza after the shoot...now that's cool!

This painting is part of a series of swimsuit paintings that are being assembled for Swimsuit Illustrated magazine.  The project is being sponsored by Deviant Liquid Latex and they have provided the paint for this session.  The swimsuit consists of about 2 coats of black in the form of unconnected strips.  This gives the illusion of a swimsuit, but in fact, there are no leg or collar seams.  Deviant's Slick spray was used to provide additional shine and to keep the latex from sticking to any surfaces.
