When Face Painting International Magazine contacted me about writing an article
I immediately signed on for the task. With the article they asked me to
include a few new bodypaintings that had not been seen by the public on my
website so I sent them three new bodypainting images and two others from my
portfolio that coincided with the article. I was overjoyed when I received
my copy of the magazine and found that they had used all of the images and gave
me a 3-page article. A special thanks to the models Heather Keckler
(former Miss Arizona), Tawnya Gentleman, Lynette Brooks, Alison, and Myla Leigh
Chenoa and also thanks to the photographers Jim Goodwin, Steve Gladysz, and Don

What
do you get when you mix Bombay Sapphire Gin, Next Nightclub, GQ Magazine, and a
bodypainted bikini model? Answer: A party you won't soon
forget. I was hired to paint model/actress Rebecca Swann for this high
profile club event that spared no expense to make sure everyone had a good
time. I painted the logo from the Bombay bottle on Rebecca's belly and
then as she worked the party, I was able to mingle with Scottsdale's

- I will be doing a live bodypainting demonstration again this year at the CopperCon sci-fi convention here in Phoenix? The convention takes place on September 5-7th and my particular event will be on Saturday high noon. As of this writing, I do not have a confirmed model to announce, but the theme of the painting will be loosely based on The Lord of the Rings trilogy. More to come...

Congratulations

- I'm starting to pick images for my 2004 Bodypainting Calendar. I have four that will be included without a doubt so far, but I still need a few more bodypaintings to choose from to complete the set. If there are any particular bodypaintings of mine that you would like to see in next year's calendar, be sure to let me know your picks.
