Southwest Models- My Latest Endeavor
by Mark Greenawalt

There's a new web site on the internet and it's brought to you by the same people who compile the deliciously entertaining Green Pages.  The site is swmodels.net and I think your gonna like it.  You may recognize some of the models featured on the site from Tennessee and Pennsylvania (which, of course, are both southwest of Maine), but in the coming months I hope to add some new model portfolios of Arizona's finest.  I'd like to thank Dawna, Stacey, Penny, Kristy, and Tracey once again for getting this site up and running.

The coolest part of the site (besides the models) is the MODEL STORE where you can find everything you need to be a professional model.  You can order books through this website on the ins-and-outs of glamour modeling and photography.  In fact, you can order any book you want through swmodels.net that amazon.com sells!  How would you like to own a bathing suit that you can get a tan through?...We've got 'em.  Go to the site and click on the Tan Through bathing suit banner.  And we also supply you with beauty products to make you glamorous!   Lipstick, eyeliner, mascara, you name it!

This month's special is a free beach kit by clicking here!

Arizona Highways
by Mark Greenawalt

Have you ever gazed in wonder at the beauty of the photographs in Arizona Highways magazine?  Well they say there ain't nothing like the real thing, baby.  Over memorial day weekend I set out to see if "they" were right and sure enough...they were right!  I just took a day trip with my family to Sedona, AZ (about 2 hours from Phoenix) and got to witness the beauty of Bell Rock, Red Rock Crossing, and Cathedral Rock along with several other named rock formations.  I haven't gotten all of the pictures back yet, but here is one shot of Cathedral Rock.

I think my next outing will include a trip to Antelope Canyon.  It's about a 5 hour drive from Phoenix, but the rock formations are well worth the trip.  Go to www.antelopecanyon.com to see some shots of this photographic opportunity.  If you want to buy a beautiful photo of Antelope Canyon before I get to make my pilgrimage there, I suggest you go to my good friend, Keith Sylvester's, web page, www.sylvesterphoto.com and place an order.  His work is superb and can be seen in hotel chains throughout the country.  Click here to see his picture of Antelope Canyon.

Next stop after that will be the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Vegas, Bryce Canyon, The Painted Desert, The Petrified Forrest, etc.

More Bullet Items
by Mark Greenawalt

-Future-Class X Publishing will be issuing a calendar for 2001.  I haven't decided yet whether it should be Arizona models, Arizona landscapes, or artwork.  Which would you buy?  If I thought I could break even I would do all three.  Please send me your comments.  In fact, go sign my guestbook again since all entries somehow got deleted again.

-My oldest boy, Sage, is just about to loose one of his front teeth.  My youngest boy, Zane, has just started walking.  It's amazing how time flies when your having fun, eh?

-The winner of this months drawing for the Mills Barn limited edition art print is Steve Asper from Pennsylvania.  Steve is my cousin and he was very influential in getting me into the music business.  I guess he is about 10 years older than me and was in a rock and roll band when I was just a kid.  He played guitar and sang in a bands called Crystal Sunrise, Baddax, and Axtress.  He sold me his Gibson Gold Top Les Paul when I was about 18 years and I still have it today.  Congratulations Steve!  For a chance at winning a print all you have to do is sign the guestbook and you will be in each month's drawing.

-Coming next month:  another drawing for a free art print, new digital artwork, more photography of the beauty that Arizona has to offer, and hopefully new MP3 sound files by Dawna Bradford and yours truly.

Type at you next month!!!
